Yewoineshet Elias

My name is Yewoineshet Elias. I was born in 1997 in Durame in the southern eastern Ethiopia. After completing high school in my hometown, I joined Addis Ababa Institute of Technology where I am currently studying Electrical and Computer Engineering. I applied for Entoto Tech Fellowship to get programming skills to succeed as a junior web developer. In the past two months I have learnt HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP and WordPress. I have also been learning the practical skills, techniques and best practices used in modern web development, how to think as developer and how to develop my profile as a software developer. My short term goal is to be the best software developer. I want to start my own business in the tech sector that creates different opportunities for people like me in my community by investing my earnings from my business. My long term vision is to be a Prime Minister of Ethiopia so that I can help my people on a larger scale. I am working towards both goals by taking different challenge myself with new opportunities, take online courses, attend workshops, watching inspirational videos, etc. In addition to that, I read different books, I go to events and spend my time on the things that build the “YEWOINESHET” I dream to be.
